16 May Ignite Dance has a New Home!

During Summer 2017, Ignite Dance will be moving to a new home at 2455 Pearl Road, Brunswick Hills.  This 6,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility will allow us to add a fourth classroom and additional programming. Dear Ignite Customers,

We are excited to finally be able to tell you about our new location!

We are the first to acknowledge that finding a new home for Ignite Dance has been a LONG process.  Thank you for your patience! Part of the reason it took so long is that we had very specific criteria for our new home:

We wanted a stand-alone building so you would feel safe dropping off your child for class.

We wanted a facility that could accommodate the size classrooms we have now, plus give us some room for growth and flexibility in scheduling classes.

We wanted to stay nearby.

And, we wanted to find something that would allow us to continue with affordable tuition.

We looked at nearly every possible property around and decided that 2455 Pearl Road, Brunswick Hills would become our new home, just two miles south of our current location.

If you drive by, you will see that property is not quite ready for us.  The current tenant is in the process of moving out, another factor that delayed our announcement.  But rest assured, we will be ready to begin transforming our new space in the next couple of weeks.

At 2455 Pearl Road, we will be able to have four classrooms.  We can add to our class offerings, have more space for storage of props and costumes, and offer easy access to Brunswick, Medina, Valley City, Strongsville, North Royalton and Hinckley.  Our classrooms will have new sprung wood floors with Marley on top.  We’ll have a student lounge area.  And we’ll still have the same professional and friendly atmosphere you’re used to.

Stay tuned to Facebook and Twitter this summer, as we will keep you updated on our progress.  In the meantime, please plan to join us for the 2017-2018 season.  We can’t wait to start the new season in our new place!

To say that I am excited about our new location would be the biggest understatement I could imagine! When we came across this space in our search for our new home, I immediately saw the endless amount of possibilities that a space like this could provide for us and I knew this was it. From the minute we walked in, the vision of what could be was overwhelming and extremely exciting!

Our new studio will have an office space for myself and Mary, keeping us accessible to help you and your student with whatever it is that they may need. Whether that be registering for the perfect class or discussing future plans, we are here for you and will continue to provide the personal touch that sets Ignite apart.

As Bill and Jodi had stated, we will still have our three current studio spaces with the addition of a fourth studio.  This fourth studio will be an extra large rehearsal space and will allow us to give our students a space that they can rehearse in that simulates the feel of being on stage. Plus it gives them the ability to leap for days! With an added studio it gives us more flexibility in our schedule to offer even more wonderful classes and additional programing to you and your dancer.

With the grand opening of our new location, we will begin offering beginner level adult classes as well as dance fitness classes.  We are also introducing a new dance program designed specifically for students with special needs. And this is just the start!

When looking for a new home for our studio we wanted to find a place that was exciting.  A place where our family could grow together through a passion for dance and we wanted to be able to bring to you, our dance family, the best possible experience we could.  Our new location will also provide us with the capacity to bring additional workshops and master classes to our students and to our community so we may continue to be the studio that gives back.

I cannot wait to begin on this journey with all of you and to continue pushing the excellence of dance education.  This is only just the beginning!
